Because it breaks all the rules:

It’s too long which is the whole point, why rush? Enjoy the ride.

On average, viewer attention spans drop off markedly on Youtube after the 15 second mark, this video is 12 times that length!

And it’s a refreshing change from the usual scare tactics successive state governments have been bombarding us with for decades now. It’s a pattern interrupt, a disruptive creative strategy.

They took a risk, did something original and different, made something impactful and worth talking about and now 1 in every 10th viewer is sharing this with their Facebook friends.

Don’t be afraid to break the rules!
