Okay, for those who have been following me for awhile now I have made it pretty clear that to make the most of the web and get your message out there you need to be:

Quite often, blog sites will allow you to include a link to your webpage in your comment which is great. It will also place a picture known as an avatar image of your choosing which is perfect for branding with the comment. If you have an avatar that demands attention then site visitors are more likely to click the link in your comment and visit your site.

Ideally, you wouldn’t want to have to setup a separate avatar for each and every blog or site you comment on now, would you? Thankfully, there’s a free service called Gravatar which will automatically place your avatar image on each and every site you comment on, how convenient! All you need to do is follow the instructions in the video below and you’re away.

Also, Disqus is a great little service that is growing in popularity that you may want to try. It acts as a sort of universal key which many blog sites will accept and allow you to comment on them without having to register your details for each and every site.

With these tools you will be more inclined to contribute more often to more sites without the hassle of having to create separate accounts and login to each and every one. More contribution on a greater spread of sites often leads to more traffic and internet kudos for you.
