How To Make People Pay Attention and Watch All Your Videos

Getting someone’s attention on the net is hard, real hard. When you do succeed in getting someone’s attention you’re going to have to work even harder to keep it long enough so that you can deliver your message and hopefully get them to take some sort of desired action.

What you don’t want is your audience having to jump to Youtube to watch your videos because Youtube is where they run the risk of getting easily distracted by the gazillion and one competing videos oh so conveniently placed next to yours like “Kittens R SO Kah-Ewwt” or “MUST WATCH – skateboarder crashes and breaks his arm, haha, what a noob!”

Many good social media practitioners and bloggers embed their videos in their sites which is good practice. However, you can go one better, you can;

Embed your entire Youtube channel in your site

Huzzah! All your videos in the same place at the same time. Having them at your audience’s fingertips makes viewers

A. more likely to watch more than one of your videos and;

B. less likely to be distracted by competing (and more interesting) videos so that they stay focussed on your message and watch your videos in their entirety – a fancy marketing term for this would be “increased engagement” (love that term, so hot right now)
