WouldPietEat

2026 — Present · Founder

Launch date: 8 Jul 2026

An independent, parody consumer app that puts every meal photo through an AI whole-foods judge — inspired by the strict, publicly posted diet rules of a well-known founder, with no involvement from or endorsement by that person.

Outcomes

Shipped an AI computer-vision app that judges food photos against a strict whole-foods standard — snap a photo, get a pass/fail verdict.
Integrated a frontier vision-language model to reliably handle messy real-world photos: mixed plates, packaging, and drinks.
Built conservative, explainable judging for ambiguous items (e.g. plain vs. flavoured yogurt), with every ruling accompanied by its reasoning.
Positioned and launched as a free-to-try consumer app, clearly framed as an independent parody rather than an endorsed product.
